Can you describe your personal style and how it has evolved over the years?
I would define my personal style as classic with a cool edge that is shaped by oversized but neat pieces. I have been able to refine my style to combine both femininity and elegance with an aspect of menswear. I have been leaning more into elevated basics over the past years, combining timeless pieces with a unique aspect that brings life to the look. I have realised how influential accessorising is, using belts, jewellery and especially different types of shoes that can really rework and change an outfit.

Who or what inspires your fashion choices and why?
I am inspired by Melbourne fashion in general. I think there is a uniqueness to our fashion that is modern yet vintage inspired. I am obsessed with Machelle Banares who reflects this really well. My sister is someone I bounce off, inspiring my fashion choices.
The small businesses that dominate the fashion industry here are not only inspirational in the clothing worn but also the passion and creativity that comes with fashion. I also take inspiration from Stockholm and Copenhagen style, Matilda Jerf, Sofia bowman and Lara bsmn. They all combine different textures and colours in an original way.

What does your "getting ready" routine look like, and how does it set the tone for your day?
My routine will always begin with a shower and skin care routine to make me feel clean and refresh my mindset for the day or night. Doing my skin care has grown to be my favourite self-care routine that makes such a difference to my attitude and mental health. I find that when I give myself the time to look more put together, I feel more productive and motivated throughout the day. As I am doing my makeup or choosing an outfit I will stay in my robe as long as I can while my body oils are marinating. Another little step is that you will always catch me with a coffee or tea next to me while I am getting ready.

Do you have any special rituals or steps you never skip when preparing for a big event?
I will never skip a full body oil after a cold shower. I love to have my skin look glowy and moisturised as it is something that is small that makes me feel more put together. I also love to ice my face before big events as I find my skincare and makeup lays down more seamlessly and makes me feel more snatched and wake.

How do you choose your outfits for different occasions? Do you have a particular process or mindset?
I normally style my outfit around a single piece that I want to wear. Whether that is a statement jacket, bag, or top. I don’t think I have any fear of being overdressed, just try to wear whatever makes me feel confident in that moment. I find that I feel most myself in a basic pair of suit pants and an oversized blazer.

What do you love most about our La Dolce Vita collection, and how do you see it fitting into your wardrobe?
The La Dolce Vita collection connects personally to my European background. The pieces remind me of an Italian summer with makes me feel close with my family and my sense of self.

How do the colours and prints you wear influence your mood and outlook for the day?
Colour and textures are something that I am drawn to in my personal style that gives my outfits personality and make them more dynamic. Layering prints and neutral to bright colours makes me feel more vibrant and generally more positive. I find that whenever the Melbourne whether is looking a bit dull, adding a pop of colour brightens up my mood.

Are there any accessories you feel are essential for completing your outfit?
I will never leave the house without my watch and rings. They are pieces of jewellery that I keep consistent with all my outfits that make me feel like myself. While this is not an accessory but an essential for me is a slick back pony to give off the clean girl vibe.

Do you have a go-to playlist or song that gets you energized while getting ready?
I always change up my playlist depending on my mood but when in doubt I love some 90s funk rock R&B. ‘Play that Funky Music’ by wild cherry has been my go-to song at the moment.
