2023 has been a monumental year for the fashion industry worldwide, and With Harper Lu is no exception. We have continued to redefine standards of individuality and innovation, creating some truly beautiful pieces which we hope our customers have loved wearing and styling. We have also continued our unwavering commitment to supporting Australian manufacturers by maintaining our connection to local businesses as well as ensuring that our customers can shop with peace of mind that their garments are both sustainable and of the highest quality.

El Fresco

In February, we brought our El Fresco Collection to life on the beautiful beaches of Burleigh Heads, Queensland. This Collection incorporated gorgeous graphics that were designed in-house, incorporating vibrant colours and mesmerising patterns; the garments were standouts in the tropical beaches of Queensland. Travelling interstate for WHL's first on-location shoot was an exciting milestone which inspired our shoot content throughout 2023.

Midnight Lily Floral

Overwhelmed by the response to our iconic pink Lily Floral Slip Dress design, we released this design in a new Midnight colourway, which launched as one of the It-Girl dresses of 2023. We have absolutely loved seeing the Lily Floral Dresses worn by our customers all over the world. The versatility of the Lily Floral Dress, styled from elevated resort wear to formal attire, means that the dress can be worn and adored time, and time again.

Annual Pop Up Store

With Harper Lu set up shop for a single day on Chapel Street in Melbourne, holding its annual Pop Up Store to provide its Melbourne customers with the opportunity to shop their favourite designs in-person. We had the wonderful opportunity to meet hundreds of our customers, listen to their feedback and watch them try their favourite pieces. We are looking forward to venturing to a new location for our next Pop Up in 2024…

Italy

Co-founder Lucia and one of our beloved model's Lily, ventured to Italy for the height of European Summer, which provided the perfect backdrop to shoot upcoming designs. The pair visited the scenic coastlines of Sorrento and Monterosso al Mare, and were inspired by the gorgeous architecture and intoxicating cultural landscape of Rome. Italy’s breathtaking panorama provided the inspiration for the Il Mare Collection, a celebration of the country’s vibrant culture and surroundings.  

Ibiza

The essence of With Harper Lu’s designs, rooted in a sense of playful elegance, mirrors the spirit of the iconic island, Ibiza. The brand collaborated with 13 of Europe’s most stylish and influential women, who enjoyed Ibiza’s exquisite cultural offerings. The intricate prints of the garments, designed in house, beautifully complimented Ibiza’s jaw-dropping scenery. Each look worn on the trip was personalised by unique styling, bringing the pieces to life through a symmetry with colours, textures and bold accessories. The trip showcased the thrilling elegance of wearing the clothes from the collection, as each piece is designed to maximise style and sophistication.

Summer Soireé

Friends and family of With Harper Lu gathered in an intimate Soireé, to celebrate the continual elevation of With Harper Lu’s branding and designs. The dinner was held at Rendezvous Hotel in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD, overlooking the iconic Flinders Street Station. It was truly incredible to see a room filled with beautiful women wearing current and upcoming designs from With Harper Lu. Each of the women in attendance have been an integral part of WHL's journey thus far, and each was grateful to have the opportunity to take a minute to reflect on the year that has been.

With Harper Lu is constantly evolving as a business, and we will continue our mission to create beautiful, unique garments, sustainably & ethically produced in Melbourne, Australia. We are forever thankful for the unwavering support of our beautiful customers, and are so excited to share all of our upcoming designs with you in 2024.
